China
My little trip around the world continues...
Beinjin / Pekin
This was my first experience to China and I thought to myself : do not ever ever come back here.. I felt I ended in the No Care Land, unfriendly at most, noisy. Although I am not going to focus on the negative aspects of this trip, I was quite disappointed by the attitude of locals. I finally found my way and meet nice tour guide hopefully but was not an easy one. Getting to the Great Wall and seeing that from my eyes erased the bad thoughts. Speaking with local guide he got to explain to me that it's related to the lack of personal space that can result in some rudeness.
Anyway in a next trip I ended up in China again hoping to have a different experience and I did.
Shanghai
I will never stop traveling even far far on the other side of the globe this is where I carried myself to go to Shanghai alone.
This is an extraordinary city, clean, modern with a great mix between ancient and new architecture. I found people super welcoming, open, and discovered what real tea is and no need of sugar! [ohh... I spent so much in tea just realizing now I still have some at home that I haven't consumed yet].
(The only thing negative was the hard time to stop a taxi..)
Every one was looking at me walking in the streets, taking stolen selfies, touching my braids (so awkward) but it felt funny ! A kind of feeling like I was a star honestly it was not "bad" it looked more like "curiosity"..
I lack of food diversity but could be i was not going to the right places..
