Switzerland
My little trip around the world continues...
Switzerland, my dear Home. This is where I live since 2013 in the city of Basel.
I love the beauty of each parts of this country whatever the weather, you can do something.
Go skiing in the mountains, visiting other cities and lakes, so much things to go and so beautiful natural landscape and nature to see.
It is clean, safe and people are open. Lot's of rules but I like that! Everything is mostly well organized and people show respect.
With my car whenever I have some free time I travel around, so convenient !

#5seewanderung Pizol 5 lakes hike :11 km - 4/5 hours on a great sunday.
Longest and "dangerous" hike ever in some parts (!) First the sun, then cold, ice, snow, mud, stepping up and more up feeling like i am doing squatts and lunges for hours... and then the wind which almost tries to push you to the edge! Ice melting making the way slippery but when you get to one lake bright turquoise colour you are more than happy ! A crazy adventure :) All this for fascinating views!
One of Switzerland’s most gorgeous hikes The Five Lakes Hike in Pizol among alp walks. The Pizol Glacier and a prevalent mountain path featured with five crystal turquoise clear lakes and spectacular views over outstanding landscapes.
This trail is only open July to October !
It starts from Pizolhutte (Pizol mountain hut) at 2,224m above sea level
The second lake Wildsee, third lake Schottensee, fourth lake Schwarzsee (Black Lake), 2,368m above sea level
and fifth lake - Baschalvasee (Baschalva Lake), 2,174m above sea level.
Get a view from the surrounding regions and even the neighbouring countries of Liechtenstein, Germany, and Austria.
Spent a relaxing weekend in beautiful Lugano and surroundings , did some hiking, walked A LOT in the forest and parks under sunshine...

Don't know where to go on a sunny sunday? Try driving to Luzern and go to Rigi mountain, perfct hike to the top or take the train. Near Luzern SBB station we took the boat (54CHF ~) which includes train ticket and also the cabine ... you can spend the whole day its beautiful !!
A day @Oeschinensee and up to the lake on the way , total up to 5hours adventurous hike ... This is just 2 hours drive from home ;) Also enjoy the toboggan !
This is the most renowned mountain lakes in Switzerland above the town of Kandersteg. The area around the lake is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jungfrau Aletsch. Impressive natural features, many hikes with amazing views, super clean water, and countless waterfalls… Unique!
You can reach the lake on the walking trail from the mountain station, and return on foot or via cable car. They are several hiking trails from Kandersteg to the lake and each of them offers a different route!
Have your break and picnic :)
Don't know where to go yet ? How about Thun Lake ? In Schadau Park it is a very nice place to visit ! Have a drink there in the chateau with a great and peaceful view over the lake.
