Dubai- The only place where water is more expensive than gasoline and all vegetables and fruits are imported! 

This trip has been one of the most amazing I have to say, for me the American dream sits in the flashy Dubai : no doubt "The Place To Be".

With all their attractions, they huge tower, the list of skyscrapers but also their nice beaches and islands, beautiful magnificent mosques no forgetting the amazing luxury cars... So many malls (I felt every corners!) but thank god they are because you really don't want to burn under the sun and heat for more than 5mins, just the time to refresh yourself in the next mall while walking. No choice .. Too much but without them I doubt it would be unsustainable. 

 

Can you believe that this place was built in the middle of the desert? It is so vibrant, ultra modern and has a bit of the best of everything coming from all over the world.

The BurjKhalifa strangely looks like the Empire State Building but at the same time also like the Eiffel Tower ... Hmmm I'm confused. I went all the way up but the view was not as nice as I thought, indeed facing clouds.

 

I went on the hop on hop off bus as well to see more things but also took the metro is so clean and men have to be in one part of the car, woman in another, and VIP on another one : Waaaw.
Compared to Abu Dhabi  which is more quiet,conservative Dubai is where you get the nightlife and activities.

 

In terms of dressing, nothing to "worry" about, you can dress how you want freely, just will have to cover yourself in the Mosque and usually they do provide long dresses and scarfs if you booked with a tour guide, otherwise put that in your bag!

I also learned how the country help it's people, property given, free education until university (but if they decide to marry a non UAE they loose all they social benefits.
